Having recently checked into the Super 8 just outside Wytheville, I'll cut to the chase: if you're seeking a no-frills stay at a wallet-friendly price, this might just be your spot. The room I snagged was on the renovated side, tidy and comfy, with all the plug-ins a tech-savvy traveler could hope for. The inclusive breakfast offerings weren't extravagant, but certainly got the job done, fueling me up for the next leg of my road trip. The staff was pleasant, albeit a bit hit-or-miss on communication - fair warning if you're eyeing a late check-out.While the cleanliness was generally decent, some nooks and crannies could use a bit more attention. The AC though, worked like a charm. The hotel's pet-friendly policy is a plus, and the vibe felt safe all around. For a basic, no-frills stay that won't break the bank, this Super 8 fits the bill.
